Downloadable Resources

Below you will find worship resources which you can download to your device and use at home.

Roots have made some of their Sunday material available FREE during this period of isolation.

There are various information and activity sheets which are all connected to this Sunday’s readings.  They are great for use as a family – just click on the button or image above to take you to their website, then look for the ‘Worship at Home’ section on the right side of the page (circled in the image above.) Click to go to the resources then download the one you want, print and look at it together.

Look is a Sunday sheet for children between 4-9 years old providing Gospel-focused activites and games for younger children. It is useful for children’s liturgy, school religious education and for family use.

Each week the Gospel story is explained in age appropriate language. A prayer and a variety of activities that will engage the children are included to help each child get to know the person of Jesus.

The resources below are for the whole of July

Click the button above to download this Sunday’s readings.  They are in the same format as our weekly Pews News sheet and includes the Collects.

Sunday Link is a weekly bulletin particularly designed to emphasise the “link” between our Christian faith and everyday life. Every week there is a Bible reflection, prayer, and a series of shorter articles.

This bulletin helps Christians develop their faith during the week, encouraging us to join in reading the cycle of daily readings. Offers a short commentary as well as a longer, independent article.

The term ‘Spiritual Communion’ has been used historically to describe the means of grace by which a person, prevented for some serious reason from sharing in a celebration of the Eucharist, nonetheless shares in the communion of Jesus Christ. This form of prayer offers Christians an opportunity to give thanks for their communion with him, particularly at times when they would ordinarily be present at the Eucharist.

We have available a free prayer booklet for anyone to use at home.  It is designed to help you to continue to feel connected to the worshipping community and it includes a service of Night Prayer (Compline) which we stream live on Facebook every Sunday and Wednesday nights.

Click on the image above to download a PDF of the booklet or call Rev Phil on 371947 and he will get one to you.

Our opportunities for gathering to worship may be restricted, but we can still worship at home.  Our Lord is present at all times, in all places.
