Instead of giving up chocolate for Lent this year why not consider something more sustainable?
The 40-day Lent period before Easter gives us the opportunity to reflect on the practice of fasting and commit to giving up something that brings a real benefit to nature and helps address climate change.
You could consider Meat-free Mondays, changing lightbulbs to LED, using the car less often, or reducing single use plastics by using the refills by the road service.
There are some great resources online to get you thinking:

at www.climatestewards.org/resources/carbon-fast/ you can sign up for their Carbon fast program or simply take inspiration from their resources

And at ecochurch.arocha.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Lifestyle-Lifestyle-Audit-v2.pdf  you can find details of how to undertake a lifestyle audit to consider your own impact on the planet
